Mr. LaHaie was admitted to the Illinois and Florida Bars in 1992. He focuses workers’ compensation defense, employer liability and employment law.
Mr. LaHaie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and business law from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1988. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in 1992.
Mr. LaHaie began his practice handling a diverse array of cases including, but not limited to, workers’ compensation, employment law, criminal law and a variety of administrative agency matters. Mr. LaHaie has vast litigation and trial experience. In 1997, Mr. LaHaie joined AIG as House Counsel and led a team of workers’ compensation Attorneys. In 2002, he joined a large Petitioner oriented workers compensation firm where he spent many years handling workers’ compensation cases, civil litigation and employment matters.
Mr. LaHaie joined Wolfe & Jacobson as a partner in 2021. His perspective in handling Illinois workers’ compensation cases is varied and extensive having worked on both sides of the “aisle.” This invaluable experience enables him to bring a unique and innovative perspective to defending a diverse array of clients.
In his free time, Mr. LaHaie enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid Harley rider and a member of a Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He also enjoys boating and snow skiing.
